1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using MapZeno (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

MapZeno provides a platform for creating embeddable, interactive maps from spreadsheet data. The Service includes web-based tools for creating, customizing, and embedding maps on third-party websites.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
• You may not use another person's account without permission
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Transmit any malicious code or interfere with the Service
• Collect user data without proper consent
• Create maps containing illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service

5. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Payments are non-refundable except as required by law. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.

We reserve the right to change our pricing with 30 days notice. Price changes will apply to new billing periods after the notice period.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MapZeno and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of any data you upload to the Service. By uploading data, you grant us a license to use, store, and display that data as necessary to provide the Service.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MapZeno shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which MapZeno operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
